Charlene > Took 2 days for the crysalis to form. She was a bit stiff and tired for sitting here 48 hours, but hey, metamorphasis is hard.

Charlene > My own theory about why the caterpillars form a hard coating and hang off the top of the lid: they are escaping the SKANKNESS THAT IS THE BOTTOM OF THEIR CUPHOUSE WHICH CONSISTS OF DISCARDED FOOD, THEIR OWN FECES AND THEIR HALF-FORMED FELLOW CRITTERS THAT DIDN'T QUITE MAKE IT TO FULL SIZE. I double dog dare someone to take a swig of that rankness.
